I have another success to share from the Singleton Business Builder Program I helped develop and run with John Costley from Lead C.I. in partnership with Singleton Council. 

This one is a local business called Singleton Pump and Water Systems. Established in 1983, their clients include farmers, mines, construction businesses, as well as residential swimming pools, household water and commercial.

SUPPORT FOR DIGITAL MARKETING SHORTFALLS

The business was having some issues with its social media posting and general online presence. After seeing the program advertised, they thought it would be a good opportunity to get some support.

Their main goal was to become more visible in search and maintain a consistent and professional social media presence, with the view to grow their brand awareness and drive more customers to their store.

KEYWORD, ANALYTICS AND SOCIAL MEDIA SUPPORT 

What they liked most about the program, which included webinars and ongoing one-on-one mentoring and coaching on both business and marketing, was that it was clear, interactive and the advice was easy to implement.

There were several areas that really supported them, including how to grow their online presence on Google using keywords, how to track people coming to their website using analytics and how to set up and schedule social posts.

THE RESULT OF IMPLEMENTATION 

Through the program, the Singleton Pump and Water Systems team have been able to learn about things they didn’t know were important in marketing, advance their online skills and grow their visibility and flow of customers.

Whereas before, they were struggling to be found by customers, now they’re appearing at the top of the search engine results page. Plus, every time they check their website analytics, they’re also seeing more and more visitors.

Business and marketing really are so intertwined. This is why we focused on both in the course. With marketing success comes more customers and business success – something this company was able to realise.
